Friday Flowers Club #5 “Good Day Sunshine”.
Hello friends.
I took this photograph exactly a year ago on what has become an annual May camping trip to Monyash, always for us a few days of adventure and exploration in the beautiful surrounding limestone dales. It seemed quite fitting for this week’s club.
The floral tapestry of May in our seasonal calendar features a huge array of blooms including Peonies, Irises, and Roses, creating a lovely mix of colours and fragrances, and the incredible scents of Mathhiola (stocks) and the big blousy extravagant peonies remind us that summer is just around the corner.
This week I am inspired by the big yellow ball that’s suddenly re-appeared in the sky after a long sabbatical - and aside from the upturn in warmth, the gentle yellow and orange hues it has brought with it.
As always, “Bringing the Outdoors In”.
Have a lovely Bank Holiday.
