Friday Flowers Club #9~Connections

Hello friends.

I was sent this week’s picture above from Julia, a member of the Friday Flowers Club, along with a beautiful message from the heart, a message that moved me to feelings of gratitude, and solidarity, and contentment.

This is Friday Flowers Club #9. How far we have come together in such a short space of time. For seventeen weeks now you have allowed me a small space in your lives to put forward my thoughts and feelings, and to translate them into flowers. Some of you have allowed me to put those flowers into your homes, for which I am very grateful.

But above and beyond the flowers is a hint of something intangible. A commonality we all share, and my main hope when setting up the club; connections that can run through and beyond what we read here every couple of weeks. Experiences, themes, understanding, empathy.

I didn’t know Julia seventeen weeks ago. Today I am gratefully sending out her picture to you all. Thank you friend.
