Friday Flowers Club #10~Ouroborous

Hello friends.

This last weekend I was honoured to be the florist at the wedding of Alec and Hannah over at Wood Lane Countryside Centre, and central to our work was this floral ouroboros that my lovely friend Sharon and I built.

The Gnostics considered the Ouroboros to be a representation of eternity and the soul of the world.

A symbol of never-ending love and unity and the cycle of re-creation; the symbolism of this piece in the lovely gardens also extended to a window into another world, and a gateway to a future together.

It was an honour to play a small part in the weekend and bring these ideas to life, and buoyed by the wonderful spirit of togetherness I will be carrying some of these themes through into Friday Flowers Club this week, with some wild, rustic blooms.

Small Bouquet: £15, Large Bouquet: £30, Aestas Jars: £12.50.

For any bespoke arrangements please drop me a message.

Usual channels for ordering nicola@nicolagreenbotanica.com or 07714025618 to join my Friday Flowers Club WhatsApp group.
